Welcome to an unforgettable journey through Franconian Switzerland, a region renowned for its picturesque landscapes, rich history, and cultural heritage. Nestled in the heart of Bavaria, Germany, Franconian Switzerland offers a captivating blend of natural beauty and historical charm.
Our excursion begins from the Welcome Kongresshotel Bamberg at 9:30 AM, where we embark on a scenic bus ride through the land of castles, mills, and caves. Our first stop takes us to Buttenheim, the birthplace of Levi Strauss, before continuing onward to Ebermannstadt and into the enchanting Wiesenttal.
One of the highlights of our journey is a visit to the majestic Basilica of Gößweinstein, where we'll be guided through its awe-inspiring architecture and rich religious history. Afterward, we'll indulge in a delightful lunch at the Hotel Goldner Stern in Muggendorf, preparing us for the adventures that lie ahead.
Our exploration continues with a visit to the Binghöhle, Germany's most beautiful limestone cave, followed by a leisurely hike to the ruins of Streitberg, complete with its intriguing dungeon. We'll then have the opportunity to unwind and savor the local flavors at the beer garden of Gasthof Schwarzer Adler before commencing our journey back through the scenic Leinleitertal and Teuchatz valleys.
After a day filled with discovery and adventure, we'll return to the Welcome Kongresshotel Bamberg around 4:30 PM, enriched with memories of Franconian Switzerland's captivating landscapes and cultural treasures.
